Construction Operations Director - Dallas, TX

Job Description


•Develop and implement operational strategies in collaboration with executive leadership to optimize project performance, resource allocation, and financial planning.

•Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes for multiple large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.

•Analyze financial reports to track project profitability, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation across all active projects.

•Supervise senior project managers, monitor project delivery, resolve operational challenges, and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.

•Adjust operational strategies in response to market conditions, labor availability, and evolving project requirements.

•Design and manage company-wide risk management practices to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks.

•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements throughout all projects.

•Serve as primary liaison with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies; lead contract negotiations and expansion initiatives.

•Mentor and supervise senior managers, foster a high-performance culture, and lead workforce development programs including succession planning.

•Implement performance measurement systems, conduct audits, and monitor key performance indicators to maintain high-quality standards.

•Identify new business opportunities, expand service offerings, and collaborate with executive leadership to drive long-term growth.


Requirements


•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.

•Three years of exp. in the job offered, senior management role, with a focus on construction, operations, or related sectors. 

•Written and Oral Spanish- Proficiency level. 

•Proficiency in construction management software and advanced business tools (Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Presto, etc.). 

•Background in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control. 

•Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Not required but desired


•Availability to travel inside and outside the U.S.

•Second language: Spanish proficiency 

 

SALARY: $140,982 per year

HOURS: 40 hrs. per week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 P.M.
